The Rainbow remastered series gets underway with a revamped Anthology release in September. Jerry Bloom is working with Universal on the series, and has written the sleeve notes. This new Anthology contains a previously unreleased track, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, which was mooted as a possible single in 1980. The version included was recorded live at Donington. The album also includes two live tracks from Cardiff 1983, that have not previously been re-issued on CD.
The first batch of the remastered albums are on course to be released in February 2010.
Also "Deluxe" versions of "Rising" and "Down To Earth" as advertised in the latest "Record Collector", coming out early next year. All co-ordinated by Jerry Bloom who outlined plans for re-release of all Rainbow's 70's & 80's albums (featuring extra material) in Issue. 35 of "More Black Than Purple", Rainbow fanzine.
